The Spa at Ameyalli

Ameyalli Resort & Spa by Appellation is creating a new standard of wellness to improve health, happiness, and—​the true measure of wellbeing—​joy for all.

The 20,000-sq-ft wellbeing spa will be the only spa in the world sourced directly by an active cluster of 28 natural geothermal springs. Designed by Overland Partners and EDG, the spa will offer an immersive progression through water, movement, treatment, and rest within an underground hydrothermal setting.

A Place Devoted to Wellbeing

  • Signature rituals and treatments—developed by the leading minds on wellness hospitality—are crafted to promote recovery, relaxation, and rejuvenation.

  • The ground-floor spa lobby will introduce the experience through a luminous, temple-like setting.

  • Below, an underground water sanctuary pays homage to the site's subterranean waters for a visceral connection to the land—an extraordinary sensory experience for healing, meditation, and immersive water-based treatments.

  • Replete with a geothermal water circuit, outdoor sauna, cold and heat exposure spaces, sunken lounges, and an outdoor pool overlooking the property’s restored hot pots, the property creates an astonishing setting for holistic longevity-focused programming.

Movement, Treatment, and Rest

Fifteen treatment rooms and dedicated movement studios will support restorative treatments, yoga, Pilates, functional movement, breathwork, and movement therapy.

The Healing Elements of Ameyalli

meyalli’s treatment offerings take inspiration from the center of the resort: the magnificent healing properties of the springs, which have been sought after for thousands of years for bathing, socializing, and spiritual ceremonies.

The geothermal springs reach temperatures of up to 104 degrees, with a unique composition of Calcium, Magnesium, and Bicarbonates that has influenced the resort's wellness programming—Harmony, Vitality, and Flourish.

Located at the ground level of the wellbeing spa, the garden-to-table restaurant is designed to fully embrace cinematic views, merging indoor and outdoor spaces and providing a series of inspired places for intimate celebrations and large-scale gatherings.

Residence Club Alpine Chalet and Villa Residence owners will receive access to the wellbeing spa and its full range of treatments, facilities, and wellness programming.
